The first day at the new high school I lose my grip of my notebooks once my fragile body is pushed and comes in contact with someone's locker. I don't look up until I know they have gone away. I slowly pick up my books and walk around trying to find the main office. Once I walk in I am greeted with the smell of cinnamon and mold. I turn my head away as if that was going to help. Before I made it to her desk to ask about my schedule I collide with a hard chest. I look up to be meet with a pair of hazel eyes. His hair is puffy with a bit of quiff to it and he has bags under his eyes. He looks at me for a mear second and continues to set off where he was originally going without saying anything. I can't believe he didn't say sorry or anything, I mean couldn't he have at least tried to be nice to me or was he heartless.

He was satan disguised as an angel and the asylum was just not a place to fall in love.

Have you ever felt unwanted ? Hopeless ? Maybe even given up on everything ? That's how I feel everyday. Unwanted from the people who come here to adopt / foster. Hopeless to finding an amazing family, an amazing place to call home, and an amazing life.
