Duke was a son of Apollo. That's why he had powers. He went to Camp Half-Blood every summer, but once he became a vigilante he stopped. He still kept in contact with all of the campers, specifically his half siblings. When he first moved into the manor he was still wary of the Waynes so he didn't tell them his secret. Eventually, he forgot he needed to tell them. Luckily for him, the universe decided to remind him of his roots. Unluckily for him, he has a lot of explaining to do now.

After the incident, Dick decided to hang up the mantle of Robin and try something new, on his own. When the Joker ends up dead, all fingers point to Dick, who has more hatred towards the man than anyone else, including Jason. Bruce is furious with him, since Dick won't confess, claiming he didn't kill him. But the greatest detective in the world can tell when his own son his lying.
