You were late, as always. "Why the hell am I always late?!" You asked yourself grabbing your backpack full of books and running out. There were crowds of people walking around the block so you couldn't run as much as you wanted. But damn it was so late! You started to push people away saying sorry about a trillion times. You noticed your backpack was open and you were risking to looke some papers, so you took it off and started to close it without stopping to run. Finally you passed the crowd so you accelerated. I suck at descriptions but here you go. You were the wife of the infamous barber Benjamin Barker until the judge had him arrested for a crime he didn't commit and sent him to prison overseas. Years and years you waited for your husband to come back but it never happened. With that you died... Or did you? Written in 2008-2009 Senior School year for the class of Advanced Composition. We were given the assignment to create a short story based on a true event. I chose the true story of the barber from fleet street, Sweeney Todd. I changed the names as to not be accused of Plagiarizing the movie by Tim Burton. This is what really happened to Sweeney Todd whose name didn't include being Benjamin Barker. It was really Sweeney Todd and nothing else. Nowhere in the true story did it mention that or him having a wife and daughter (as made in the movie).
