A few years later, at 22, he is approached by his old team, they being unaware of his true identity, with an offer for him to join the Justice League. After finding out Bruce has gone missing, Ilyasveil steps up to take his place at Wayne Enterprises while she helps her brothers keep the city safe until Bruce's return. As Ilya struggles with keeping her business life out of her personal life, she finds that growing up isn't as hard as she originally thought it was. Especially when there are others relying on her. Just when things seem to be falling into place, the world comes crashing down. In their attempt at survival, Ilya and the demigod residing inside of her might be the only thing that stops the madness the world becomes when Gods decide that humanity is no longer fit to be the dominant species.

Nightwing has been overly stressed after the Invasion. Wally was saved due to the Scarab's warning and everything went back to, relatively, normal. But... Nightwing is scorned by nearly everyone due to the mental strain and severe danger he brought upon everyone. Was he forgiven? By some but not really those that matter to his own mental state. Barbra and Tim still feel betrayed by them... and Wally is still angry with him for putting Artemis's life on the line like that. But with all this stress and guilt... well... not even Nightwing is invincible.
