⚔️ The Wayward Company "He came from an age of gunpowder and discipline... and found himself in a world of magic and monsters." The year was 1785 when Silas Ward was born - a Virginian by birth, a soldier by blood. The son of a frontier rifleman and a veteran of the Revolution, Ward grew up in the lingering smoke of musket fire and the echoes of liberty's war drums. His father's stories were full of powder, honor, and men who carved a nation from wilderness. Ward became one of them - a United States Marine, a captain forged in the chaos of the War of 1812 and the Barbary Wars that followed. He knew the sting of salt air, the ring of sabres, and the thundering recoil of a musket - his father's old Charleville, a relic from another war. He knew discipline, courage, and the silence that comes after battle. He thought he knew the world. Until one night, the world changed. A storm unlike any other swallowed his ship whole - and when he awoke, the sea was gone. In its place stood a land of twin moons and crimson dawns, where men walked beside elves and devils bore human faces. A place where steel and sorcery shared the same battlefield. To its people, he was an enigma: a foreigner in a tattered blue coat, wielding a thunderous weapon no forge could craft and speaking of wars no bard had sung of. To himself, he was something worse - a ghost adrift in a world that was not his own. But fate has a strange sense of humor. In this new realm, Silas Ward would cross paths with others who carried their own scars: a half-elf devoted to divine justice, a young fighter chasing her worth, a brooding warlock haunted by the cost of power, and a tiefling bard whose charm hides a wounded heart. Together, they will become known as The Wayward Company - not by choice, but by destiny. Their story is one of exile and rediscovery, of loyalty born in the fires of difference. For while some heroes are made by gods, and others by magic... Silas Ward was made by war.

A tale of death and destiny, heroics and heartbreak.. a tale of two that tried to forge their own destiny, but were not meant to be. Geralt was a Witcher and Jaskier was a bard. They were different, too different. But they tried, oh god they did. But was the effort worth it? (Based on lyrics from The Amazing Devil - Joey Batey's (Jaskiers actor) band. Lyrics will be italic).

In the Greatlands The Lodrian Scholars descend upon the trail of the blue flame- determined to seek the fabled Pillar of Power. Entranced by the prospect of limitless strength, they shall stop at nothing to seek its adage and glory. But as the years have proven, the price of glory is paid many times over by martyrdom. In the Southron Seas- Among the numerous islets of the Greatlands, there lies one - bounded by seafroth- which has been home to men as different as they were conflicted. But the ways of old demand it, for he who shall expect a hearth from Koinoros must allow one to another- no matter the latter's faith, race or creed- such is the law of the common country. So great is Koinoros' repute for peace, and magnificent its hospitality, that the Scholars are bound by their masters to visit its starry sanctums, lest their adage go untainted by the wisdom of the ancient echos. In Koinoros Headed by the enigmatic Nira Afdur, who was once a scholar herself, the Order of Glaives strives to divert the Lodrians from the path of the trail, for they know that their venture is hopeless- only six among the numerous thousands have ever tamed the flame. As the saying goes, 'The Pillar is as deadly as it is divine' But the Order will not find its task easy, since forgoing the mark of the trail is a matter of great shame; even punishable by death. Follow the adventures of Nira, Albir, Garamont and Visiros- as they stalk the grimy streets of Koinoros, willing to risk themselves in order to save countless others. Cover credits: J.C.
