Madison McClain, or Madi for short, is a young elf girl who is close friends with Ian and Barley Lightfoot. Madison and Ian have feelings for each other, but they both are too scared to admit it. When her friend receives a wizard's staff from his late father, along with a spell that'll bring him back for one day. When the spell goes wrong, she goes on a quest with the brothers to find a rare Phoenix Gem to bring the rest of their father back.

About 1 year after the events of Onward, Barley is now 20, and goes to New Mushroomington University. It's a big change for Barley, moving away from his family, and into a strange, new home. He shares a dorm with another boy, Atlas Finch. Everything seems perfect. Atlas is a great roommate, and his grades are doing just fine. What could happen? I do not own any of the characters, other than Atlas himself.

(An angst/comfort Onward OC x Canon fic) Don't let the title fool you, it does have a kink mentioned in it but it's not a kink/fetish fanfic at all. This fanfic is about Barley's girlfriend feeling insecure about her personal kinks after seeing a post online regarding hate towards it and especially hate towards people who have it. This is based on real events as I stumbled across a post on tumblr from a certain onward artist saying "all people who are into this kink can get f*cked." Basically really chewing out everyone who happens to like these sort of things super casually in the open for people like me to see and try to make everyone feel ashamed for having the kink. I also saw someone reply to this artist and the two just complained about it for my poor eyes to see. I have this kink, it's something I can't help, I'm just born with it. But how they called me disgusting for it really messed me up and I got depressed for a few days. I have a thing for chub, plus sized people, WG, that sorta thing. It's a very personal and individual thing, just one small quirk of mine where I don't mean to hurt anybody over it. I can't control it, I didn't CHOOSE to like it. After that I left tumblr, I had another account I left due to cyber bullying issues and I left again because of toxic people in the onward fandom trying to make me hate myself again and trying to make me feel ashamed. So I wrote this. I also tried looking at the Barleylightfoot tag on Twitter and saw the same artist complaining about the same thing so I immediately blocked her there. But yeah, I hate kinkshamers.
