Barlowe Stories

Based on the hit 2005 documentary along with Wayne Barlowe's 1990 book "Expedition", this is a pilot episode I wrote for an idea I had for what if Alien Planet got its own saturday morning cartoon much like the Future is Wild got on Discovery kids. the premise is that in the 24th century year 2358 Earth has become an uninhabitable wasteland after centuries of war ravaged the planet. Humanity was forced to abandon its ancestral home and seek refuge among the stars aboard the interstellar ark known as the starship Von Braun. Professor Hugo Cornelius Barlowe, a brilliant roboticist and exobiologist, has hatched a plan to save the human race: Project Regenesis, which involves sending pairs of autonomous robotic probes he built called "Horus Probes" to different inhabitable worlds in search for a new home for the human race. the story follows two horus probes named Leonardo Da Vinci "Leo" and Isaac Newton "Ike" as they crash-land on the backwater planet of Darwin IV and are stranded on the alien world as they learn about the planet and its diverse array of bizarre creatures while trying to find a way to re-establish contact with the Von Braun and get off the planet.

What if Harry Potter was written from the readers perspective? Sort of a Harry Potter rewrite, except it's gender-neutral and the main character is Y/N! Wholesome storylines and trigger warnings at the start of each chapter! Some of my favourite bits in the plot so far: WE HAVE LESBIAN DEATH EATER PARENTS LETSS GOOOO.
