Barrel Stories

When Sadie was 18, her parents were killed in a car accident, leaving her all alone on her ranch with her quarter horses. Most of them she sold off, but she kept a few favorites to show and breed. University doesn't have a place in her mind;horses are the only thing that matter to her now. Then, on a visit to a family friend's farm, she sees an ordinary bay gelding, who she becomes interested and buys. This horse is special though. It has a secret talent, and its up to Sadie to find it.

Montana is just a country girl who loves to barrel race. Her family owns a Quarter horse farm in Oklahoma. They haven't had any winners in a few years and are starting to lose money. When suddenly Montana finds a horse in the woods black as night and fast as light. Could this be the horse that saves the farm?

Rebecca loves the thrill of the rodeo scene, and barrel racing is her passion. She has heart, grit and everything else the other girls do, except one thing. Vision. With determination, a loving brother, and a loyal horse she knows she can rank just as high as the pro's. But the rodeo circuit proves to be much more challenging than she expected. .::.AN.::. This is another one of those spur of the moment thought's that popped into my head. First ever story I've ever written like this as well, so I'm hoping the writer's block stays away from me, but I'm not holding my breath. She was way into the rodeo, barrel racing mainly but occasionally team roping with her boyfriend Grayson Aberdeen or pole bending. Join her on her journey to either rodeo failure or rodeo success.
