Following the events of "The Return of Sephiroth", one of Avalanche's own becomes what they feared the most. I decided to re-write this story as I wasn't happy with how it went.

Collision of Our Souls is a mature reinterpretation of Final Fantasy VII in the psycho-sexual lens, focusing on the repressed sexuality of FF7 (Homoerotic and otherwise). The story has appropriated VII's premise, story and characters but has been manipulated by me to be viewed as an original piece rather than fan-fiction. Original characters have been reshaped and renamed while others have been reborn as new identities. Cloud has evolved into Kashni Rain - an ex-SOLDIER who has been missing for five years. He suddenly resurfaces in Sector 6 suffering with terrible anxiety, he is haunted by the Devil on his shoulder and as he stumbles through Proto-Lavandar [Midgar] a Mako Reactor blows up in the far distance erupting chaos and triggering a deep and scarred memory within Rain. Who is the Devil on his shoulder? Why has Rain reappeared after five years crippled with anxiety and a repressed personality? Why did the Reactor explode seemingly by itself?

This takes place before but during Crisis core (some parts are changed) and Cloud is a cadet still I'm too lazy to write more so enjoy reading the story.
