With a universe as big as theirs its easy to forget that in a single night some many things happen in so many lives they have yet to comprehend, but to them its just another night.

There was a place just on the edge of Central City along where a little river ran that Barry always found himself when he was angry or upset or just needed time alone. It was a random spot, nothing extraordinary or special about it, but it was where he felt the most at peace. The most whole, the most complete. He had been going there ever since he was little, when his mother first brought him there on a sunny spring day. As the years go by, that spot becomes a sanctuary to him. And one day as an adult, he finds someone else there who becomes his whole world. Someone to share in that precious sanctuary.

Barry and Caitlin have been penpals for 12 years. They finally get the chance to meet in person when Caitlin goes on a business trip to Central City, where Barry lives, but is everything as it seems?

This is based in season 1 and starts in episode 12. The episode that Caitlin takes Barry out for a drink. Barry does meet Linda in that episode so let's say that she just didn't go to that bar so Barry doesn't meet her. Also Cisco does free heartley but as soon heartley gets out of Star labs he beats up Cisco and while Cisco falls on the ground it conveniently breaks the frequency remote. Also the two main changes with Linda and Cisco's vibrational remote make a bunch of little changes that are very important to the story. -------------------------- Story: both Barry and cait thinks that it will just be a normal drink and they're both looking for a relation ship but are starting to find out that they have feelings for each other.

Caitlin has a modest science blog and a fairly new YouTube channel, but she accidentally goes viral and also attracts the attention of a certain other science video blogger, Barry Allen. No powers AU. Written for Snowbarry Week 2022.

This fic was written by an idea i have after watched The Flash Season 4 Episode 20 when Devoe said that Barry is Caitlin 'bestie' i thought it could work really well as a starting point for Snowbarry.
