The JSDF had taken the peace deal hostage, and forced the U.P. a more "even" term. The U.P. showed that they were the ones that long-armed the Sederan Empire to the ground. Both sides are bitter at one another, and both have claimed an occupation zone. Lieutenant Itami and Colonel Cody Judkins IV are now at each other's throats. Who will win the a struggle? Who will leave the Continent empty-handed?

As the JSDF and the United Planets began to recuperate from their trust problems, they began to rely on the other's expertise in their field. This also made it harder for the enemy to track who is attacking whom. However, the Portal is going to land them in a different location, and now they'll have to fight an enemy the JSDF had never fought before.
