Like anyone else starting 9th grade, Courtney Klvoski, as a young 14 year old girl, couldn't wait for her first day at Jenika Highschool. But, beginning the year is much more stressful and tough than Courtney anticipated it. Courtney's family and school relationships are crumpling and she has to put her life back together before things completely fall apart. based on live events, this is a story about the forest fires that are breaking out everywhere in British columbia. This specific story is about the Gustafson lake fire that is currently verging on burning down 100 mile, 103, and 108 mile house. This is only based on

"I never said I was joining you." I said coldly. He stopped walking and faced me. "Then what are you intending to do, go run around alone and get yourself killed? Honestly it's smarter having someone who can have your back when you're in trouble. I assumed you already knew that." He responded with the same bitter tone. I took slight offense to that, which got me furious, "Why don't you go back in there and get your friends, how 'bout Veronica?" He retaliated, "You'd think I didn't try? They were all turned by the time I got to them!" I suddenly felt bad for him, "Besides, I bet you didn't even try. You just ran, cold-heartedly. So, you should be glad that I'm not just ditching you."
