If you've been keeping track of my poems you know that my first poetry collection was called "My Poetry." For the moment that is unpublished because of theft. I also made a poetry collection called "The Unpublished Poems" which I've decided to not write any more in, at least right now. You can read that on my Wattpad profile. Now this one. What's the point of it? To keep all of the poems I've posted on my message board in one place. and because honestly I miss writing stories and sharing them. Most of mine were unpublished. But in any case, if you're reading this: this is more of my original poetry I wrote based off my life experience, thoughts, and feelings.

Here I am. Here I am with all my friends, on our way to school for our last day in high school. In less than 3 hours, we'll be done. Done with homework, drama and early mornings for two months. For two months we'll be free and alive. Life will get easier and so much better. In two months we will experience things that none one of us ever experienced before. We will discover things, places and feelings. Nothing can get in our way to what we want. For two months, there will be no rules. Because rules are only written to be broken. Broken by us. We have a plan. A list, to be more specific. Everything we want to do during the summer is written down that list. We'll do everything we can only to achieve our goals, one by one. We want to have something to tell. We want to tell the world that for two months, we are invincible. If everything goes as planned, we will be. But as you imagined, there's one thing that didn't go as planned, that I didn't anticipate. That during those two months, I would fall in love with you.

A World Beyond Our Own In a world far beyond our own, a world of medieval and Renaissance influences, there lived a young woman named Heleane. She was in her early twenties, with brown hair, blue eyes, and fair-to-yellow skin. She wasn't skinny, nor was she calm. Heleane had a curious nature that often made her stand out in a crowd, and her friendly, sometimes naive personality made her well-liked by many. Heleane worked as a handmaid, providing a very unique service. She performed baths for the nobility and anyone who could afford her services. Her day was full of hard work: bringing water from the lake, heating it up, drawing the baths, cleaning, and washing hair. She also took care of feet, a job that many didn't want to do-especially when it involved treating ingrown nails or other painful foot problems. The smells and sights she encountered were unpleasant, but it was a job that had to be done.

Sometimes, change is inevitable. Transition periods bring forth new opportunities. For incoming high schoolers, freshman year is the perfect time for change and a new beginning. Of course with new beginnings come new challenges. Life throws curve balls along the way and it helps to have someone to stick by. Four friends, Mia, Jay, Anna, and Issac, all have each other to stick to. Only meeting freshman year, they are thrust into situations where they need to work together and endure life's tasks.
