How much weight can a facade hold before it cracks completely? To the world, he is just an ordinary man-a calm, serene presence moving through a normal world. But behind that perfectly calibrated mask lies a puzzle split into three pieces: the echo of a joy that no longer belongs to him, the coldness with which he hides his present, and the silent scream of a trauma threatening to consume him. This is not just the story of a mind in freefall; it is the meticulous dissection of an implicit pact. Because the worst torment isn't the secret that eats you alive from the inside... It is the silent complicity of those who look away while you destroy yourself. Based on true events, HAUNTED is a clinical, suffocating psychological thriller that proves that sometimes, the worst prisons don't have bars-they have familiar faces.

Dear Readers, The poem you are about to read, A Duty To Speak, is incredibly close to my heart because it is born entirely from a true experience. One evening, after finishing my shift at Barter Books-the lovely café nestled inside the old converted Victorian railway station-I stepped out to catch my usual bus home. What should have been a routine journey turned into an evening I will never forget. While waiting at the station, I witnessed a vulnerable young schoolboy being subjected to deeply uncomfortable and inappropriate behavior by a heavily intoxicated woman. What shocked and distressed me just as much as her actions was the reaction of those around us-the bystanders who chose to look away, and even those who laughed. I knew I couldn't just stand by. Thanks to a brilliant, furious bus driver who understood the gravity of the situation, we managed to intervene and get the boy to safety. I wrote this poem to process that night, but more importantly, to give a voice to that quiet schoolboy and to highlight a vital truth: we all have a responsibility to look out for one another. I hope it resonates with you and serves as a gentle reminder of why we must never choose silence when someone is in need of help. Thank you, as always, for reading. Warmest wishes, Gemma

It didn't begin with love so bright, Just late-night talks and stolen light. A simple laugh, a careless start, That slowly wrapped around my heart. Between "don't go" and "maybe stay," I gave myself away... piece by piece, day by day. He loved another, I stood aside, Smiling soft while I broke inside. No grand goodbye, no crashing end, Just love that blurred with being a friend. A choice I made, a flame I knew, A bridge I burned... before I grew. Now all that's left are echoes that stay, In quiet nights that won't fade away. This isn't love - not sweet, not kind, It's the scar he left behind..

Title: The Last Column Was Blank Author: JackOfficial In 1988, a regional newspaper printed an empty column for three consecutive days. No headline. No text. No explanation. The staff called it a printing error. The editor knew it wasn't. The missing article was written by a reporter no one remembered hiring- a man who worked only at night and rewrote forgotten police cases from decades earlier. Days later, people mentioned in those files began to die. Not violently. Not mysteriously. But exactly the way the old records described. When the editor discovers unpublished newspapers hidden in the basement-each predicting deaths before they occurred-he realizes the truth: Some stories are never meant to be printed. Because once they are, they become permanent. This story is based on unpublished newspaper incidents and suppressed case files from the late 20th century. Names, locations, and records have been altered. The fear has not.
