It's been 40 or so years after the Legend of Peter Rutheforde happened. Young adults Alexis (Aj), her girlfriend Elizabeth, Eric and Alec decide it's time to find out if that legend is true or not. If it was to be true still, the mutated humans Peter experimented on long ago would be lingering in the nearby forest, waiting to torture and kill whoever went in. However, after a week and a half of not returning from their camping trip, Arabelle Lance becomes worried for her friends. She and the rest of the group decide it would be best, of course after doing some research, to go find out if her friends are alright.
While doing the research, another small group would separate from Arabelle and her boyfriend, Julian. All in hopes of finding the group quicker. It fails though when another week flies by and Arabelle hears nothing back from her best friend and the others. No thought of calling the police was an option, Arabelle wanted to get down to the disappearance of her friends by herself with the help of Julian; who in fact, has a psychology and crime investigation degree. Once the two reside in the forest for a few days, Julian feels uncomfortably fearful as he starts seeing demonic-like creatures out of the corner of his eyes, watching him like he was their prey. His mind immediately wanders to the mutated humans, who want to seek revenge after Peter's doing.
What they don't know though, is that the creatures have to be given an order to kill. Someone who was in Peter's family. Who was behind this? Could they solve the murders? Who was the evil, mentally ill person behind all of the murders of Arabelle's friends? Did she know them? Could she be connected to Peter and his family? Was she part of his bloodline? All the woman could hope and pray for was that the answers to those questions were no.
