Screaming. The sound of a knife chopping continuously against a board, sliding across it momentarily. The aroma of a boiling sizzling stew, while a woman talks absently from the tv. A woman hums as she's chopping, a bird singing nearby to her voice. The kettle let's out a high shriek, "MUM!!! MUM PLEASE!" The screams were silent.
