Sunny x Basil Fanfiction, switches character POV. As the dawn breaks, a new beginning sets in for Sunny and Basil. Sunny stays in Faraway Town, challenged with integrating back into society and facing his mental health. Basil is determined to help Sunny, but often finds himself in need of help as well, to deal with loneliness, anxiety, and trauma. Basil tries his best to keep a brave face, although he is struggling. Sunny always recognizes Basil's struggles first, and lends an ear. The two of them lift each other through their shared trauma. Sunny discovers that his crush on his friend Aubrey was actually a mask for his romantic feelings for Basil. Basil has had romantic feelings towards Sunny for a couple years, and has been in denial about it. Until now. Disclaimer: I own none of these characters. Sunny had moved away after he got better of course the only friend he had left was Basil, well Basil and him were always off since Mari swung so the friendship was breaking apart. Nobody forgave him or Basil not even Kel. Sunny was in his new school in a different town when he ran into none other than Basil. "sorry sunny... I uh didn't know you moved here haha.." Basil let out an awkward forced laugh playing with the pants sides. "...." sunny didn't say anything as usual.

After the accident, Basil and Kel both pretend that things are alright, but both know very well there's a void in their hearts to be filled. It becomes especially apparent when one struggles to breathe, and the other has to watch. (Characters are from OMORI. All content warnings for that game apply here.)

Basil bad ending and memory loss AU. After Basil commits suicide, Sunny has to move away from Faraway, leaving everything behind to start a new life. Basil's death took a massive toll on Sunny's life as he was not able to let go. After many years Sunny finally learned to live with the fact that Basil was not coming back, until something unexpected happened.

Basil and Omori are very pog and I like them so I will be writing stories about them being very wholesome boyfriends whenever I feel like it to be honest. These will be my personal headcannons so sorry in advance if you don't like them. EDIT: okay so I finished the game and it was great. So I still ship Basil and Omori but I will start to specify when I write about Omori or about Sunny. Besides that, enjoy!

They really like flowers!" The candy lover gulped, Aubrey's presence seeming much more imposing despite both of them being about the same height. "Whaddaya say? You help me give 'em a lil' something, and Miss Candice won't bite your ear off!" What the hell?! - Mari Lives, and Aubrey just met the gang six months ago.
