But along the way, as Jace and Miggy spend more time together-surviving the floods of Pasig, sharing tricycles, doing group projects, and late-night chatting-the vibe completely shifts. Miggy starts paying more attention to Jace instead of Enzo. Later on, after months of slow-burn pining, Jace finally cracks and confesses his feelings. That's when Miggy drops the ultimate plot twist: he never actually liked Enzo. He just used Enzo as an excuse from day one because he was too shy to approach Jace directly.
