A coming-of-age story about a sixteen-year-old musician named Abby. While experiencing the innocence and fun of her teen years alongside her twin brother, Aaron and best friend, Sierra, Abby encounters the teenage girl's greatest downfall- a charismatic boy. From the moment Abby meets Jace, her life begins to unravel at a sickening pace. This novel explores the dichotomy between love and lust, the toxicity of codependence, and other contemporary themes such as addiction and mental illness. As Abby loses those around her one by one, the reader witnesses a constant struggle with one of life's greatest questions- when is enough, enough.

Flake sees him and is inspired. He finds himself in a boring boarding school, but this man, fascinates him, and inspires him to push forward on his keyboard. Till notices Flake watching, and has an idea. Meanwhile, Paul and Richard can't help but see their musical skills, and suggest something to Doom and Ollie. They say crazy things happen at the most unexpected moments. I'm not really sure how to react on that because: I hate a monotonous life BUT I'm quite wary of surprises. I was shocked speechless when the latest surprise came out to be a swoon-worthy boy (and a local singing career). You see, sort-of old maids/slightly bachelorettes/ forever-alone girls like me only expect to see them online and on magazines and NEVER EVER in real life: like flesh-and-blood-and-breathing-the-same-air-as-me real life and most especially not when they're rocking a bass guitar and singing back up vocals for me. So one thing lead to another and soon, I found myself living.. Living louder than I used to be.

Nilo is your average punk guy. Most would steer clear of a conversation in case it happens to turn political (or he bites, you never know). However, he's managed to become popular by being snarky towards none other than Drey, the popular guy that has mannerisms more like a stereotypical mean girl than an actual bully. Yet, no one has ever stood up to him (at least, that the general public knows of). Naturally, Nilo wants to create a band. What happens when the only drummer in town is Drey? And a good one at that? It's just a tad cliché but in a way that I make fun of it in the story.

callused dark fingers run through the soft hair of the quiet blonde and wipe the hot tears, leaving her eyes glossy and pink. It almost made the girl with the bass guitars lung over her shoulder want to kick down a wall, to see such a darling being in despair. "who.. who hurt you?" the weeping girl whispers, noticing the soon- to- be bruise on the musicians cheek. All that she can respond with is silence, gazing into the eyes seeming carved from peridot; echoing youth and positivity from her very soul. After a short pause she whispers, "I might ask you the same."
