After her murder, it's up to Dan to solve her death himself, along with a beautiful detective. As he falls down the dark wormhole of the investigation he uncovers some terrible home truths about his bride-to-be. Through Zadie's webbed lies and frequent disappearances, he realises that his fiancée wasn't the perfect person he made her out to be, which destroys him more. Started writing this because I couldn't find a Bastille fanfic ANYWHERE online but there are plenty more now (yay) Enjoy :) One night Nem (there's a reason for the weird name) gets locked in her uni library, along with (of course) mysterious Dan Smith... How will smart, sensible Dan and tough, impulsive Nem get along?
