Dan is hiding a horrible secret that forces him into hiding. His one best friend, Kyle, brings him back from the brink of death, only to discover a terrible secret of his own.

Dan Smith loves to write. He writes songs, poets and he’s currently writing a story. A story about an unknown girl that he imagines. People calls it an obsession but he calls it hope, dream and just a hobby. What if the girl of his imaginations that he only wrote on the piece of paper suddenly comes to life that one night and lives with him? He has written her down and she will live forever. This fanfiction will be only Dan’s POV. This is just a fan fiction, i just use Dan Smith as the character. Alice meets Dan whilst supporting his band, Bastille, on tour. Her music career is brief but it introduces her to a man with a great amount of talent and heart. But then he's gone. After a whirlwind of a tour Alice finds that he has no time for her. Desperately trying to win his attention, she lands herself in trouble time and time again, unfortunately knowing that she will never be his priority only makes her want him more. Unless of course, he cares for her more than she thinks... A/N This is my first fanfiction, I know it moves quite slowly, the first six parts are more a 'here are the characters , check out the long winded back stories and descriptions'. I didn't want to keep going back to Alice's back story after these parts because I don't want to interrupt the plot, which, hopefully, will have a better pace, more dialogue and just more happening in general..... hopefully. 'No.' I said bluntly and walked away. I'd tried my best to keep calm, but was now resorting to holding my bottom lip with my teeth to stop it trembling. I couldn't believe that out of all the bands in the world, I had been assigned this one. With him. What on earth was I supposed to do? I'd never dreamed of seeing him again, and definitely not at work. But hadn't I known he was in a band? Hadn't he been the one who'd planted the idea in my head to work with musicians? I felt incredibly stupid and embarrassed. I took myself off to the ladies toilets before heading back to the office, checking I was alone before shutting the cubicle door and letting out a silent scream. No one could ever find out that Dan and I were married.

Bastille are old news. Times change and the four grew old, settled down and had families of their own. But this story is about the children of Bastille, and how they created a band of their own... While individually going through their own problems.
