dan and nia have been internet friends for the longest time. they've always been really close-closer than most internet friendships-and they always stick with each other, no matter what. one day, they find out that they'll be able to meet each other, which leads to loads of excitement and happy tears. what they don't know is that they'll end up falling for each other sooner than expected.

This is my first fan fic and its going to be a about a depressed fan girl for bastille ( a.k.a the loves of her life) I hope you enjoy it :) The first chapter is introducing the main character and explaining her life so i'm sorry if you find it a bit slow, sorry in advance :))

Alice meets Dan whilst supporting his band, Bastille, on tour. Her music career is brief but it introduces her to a man with a great amount of talent and heart. But then he's gone. After a whirlwind of a tour Alice finds that he has no time for her. Desperately trying to win his attention, she lands herself in trouble time and time again, unfortunately knowing that she will never be his priority only makes her want him more. Unless of course, he cares for her more than she thinks... A/N This is my first fanfiction, I know it moves quite slowly, the first six parts are more a 'here are the characters , check out the long winded back stories and descriptions'. I didn't want to keep going back to Alice's back story after these parts because I don't want to interrupt the plot, which, hopefully, will have a better pace, more dialogue and just more happening in general..... hopefully. After all, the man with many talents, is very familiar with heroes and villains in his own life. This superhero flick called 'Illusion' suits Dan better than his characters suit!

When his life is practically saved by a girl named Zoe, Dan Smith finds himself oblivious to her dark past and her flaws, despite her landing him in a bout of troubling situations. Is she really bad news, or will Dan find the beauty in her before it's too late?

based on the film by Alfred Hitchcock using the members from the band Bastille. Dan Smith finds himself in a predicament when he figures out he has a case of vertigo, a whirling and dizzying sensation, due to acrophobia, the fear of heights, when he is hanging off the side of a building and his friend's life is in danger. Two years ago at a charity concert Bastille lead singer Dan Smith and events manager Phoebe Hawkes shared a short yet unforgettable kiss, before parting ways, knowing they would never see each other again.
