What if, on a mission, the criminal Red Hood was shot? What if he accidentally used the wrong zeta tube and ended up in Mount Justice instead of the Batcave? How would the team, and more importantly his brothers, react? And what if Batman finally decided it was time?

Damian Al Ghul has been sent on a mission by his mother, Talia Al Ghul in order to prove his worth to her and his grandfather as a suitable heir to their family. Damian has been raised as an assassin but quickly realizes he doesn't want to become a killer. Whilst on his mission, he runs away and boards any transport he can find. He soon discovers he's stranded in Gotham City with nowhere to go, unaware he's caught the eye of Gotham's most fierce protector. *note*: this fanfiction doesn't follow everything canonically. For example: Damian intentionally has blue eyes in this fic instead of green purely for plot purposes. This fanfiction was inspired by the song 'I'll be good' by Jaymes Young. This is gonna be a SelinaxBruce fic, but it focuses on her and the Robins. No OCs, just Selina with the BatKids. I'm thinking of maybe 5 chapters for this one. One for each batboy (sorry, but I have a hard time writing for the girls) and then one with Bruce and her at the end. We'll see what I actually end up writing. Enjoy! "I don't need a shrink." He says, taking out a cigarette as he plops down onto the pristine couch and fixates the girl with a glare he hopes is intimidating. The girl cowers as he expected and opens her mouth to stutter just as a young woman enters the room briskly. "Well then Jason, until you're ready for one, let's just say this shrink needs you." The woman holds his glare with defiant eyes. To say he's slightly baffled is an understatement. He rakes his eyes over her form as she takes her own seat, leg crossing over the other. She offers him some baked goods and then proceeds to shrug when he refuses her and pushes a pastry past her purple lipstick clad lips. Perhaps he'll hang around after all.
