Nightwing has always been known as the perfect, goofy , lovable Golden Boy. He is the opposite of his brothers and Batman. But what happens when secrets expose his dark side ?

"I don't need a shrink." He says, taking out a cigarette as he plops down onto the pristine couch and fixates the girl with a glare he hopes is intimidating. The girl cowers as he expected and opens her mouth to stutter just as a young woman enters the room briskly. "Well then Jason, until you're ready for one, let's just say this shrink needs you." The woman holds his glare with defiant eyes. To say he's slightly baffled is an understatement. He rakes his eyes over her form as she takes her own seat, leg crossing over the other. She offers him some baked goods and then proceeds to shrug when he refuses her and pushes a pastry past her purple lipstick clad lips. Perhaps he'll hang around after all.

DC Series Book Two "Whoa." Tim snorted as he looked at the expression on Barbra's face. "Can you not look happy that we just got our asses handed to us?" He asked. Barbra tried not to blush but it was kind of hard since the butterflies in her stomach hadn't calmed down yet. "I'm not happy." She replied defensively. "I just think he's kind of hot." Ria pushed the hood of her suit down and glared at Barb. "Hot?" She demanded. "He just tried to kill us!" -- Barbra Gordon is spinning her wheels. Having missed the whole Ria and her Magical Coven debacle over the summer, Barbs almost wishes she could go back in time and kick the Council of Shadows collective asses. But now, she's wishing she hadn't felt that way at all. Azrael, a twenty-one year old assassin has been sent by the Council to kill Ria. He breaks into Young Justice Headquarters, trashes Wayne Manor and creates general mayhem in Gotham, all to get Ria to come out and face him. And Ria's not exactly scared, she just doesn't know how to stop him without killing Azrael. With the BatFamily on her side, Ria thinks she has a fighting chance against this maniac until something crazy happens, Azrael takes a liking to Barbra. Having never really seen her face, it's Barbra's fighting style and spirit that attracted the cold-hearted boy to this justice loving hero. And now things are complicated. Having been taught to kill the things he loves, Azrael vows that once Ria is dead, Barbra will be next. This turn of events may lead the BatFamily to do something they have never done before, kill Azrael before he hurts any of them.
