He missed having the companionship of a partner who had helped raise his daughter quite a lot, but he always wanted her to have a mother figure. What Jason and Roy don't know is that the ancient forces of time have decided to grant their wishes and give both of them the families they desire, even if it wasn't in the way they expected, and certainly not in a manner their families would agree with. Clockwork is facing a significant problem. Danny and Ella's cores are severely damaged, and the only way to fix them is to send them to a different universe and change their DNA. When he revealed the truth to Jazz and their aunt, Jazz offered to be their mother; when he explained that he would have to alter their memories and her injuries to make them different, she agreed. So he went to find the three a new home, and that's when he heard Jason and Roy's wish and decided to grant it.
