Ang mga ito ay inatasan na magbantay o mamahala sa bayan na kanilang pagmumulan at dito malalaman kung ano ang magiging papel nila sa mundo ni Bathala. Ang bulalakaw ay isang kapngyarihang handog para sa taga-bantay upang mapalakas ang pwersa ng kanilang alyansa sa pakikiisa sa pagpapatibay ng mundo.
