"It was his day to confess, but as daybreak rose, he longed for more time. His guilt, the hatred, the self-loathing were so overwhelming that he could not stand to be himself any longer. Painful remorse followed him since the incident, the sin that he had committed so overwhelming that even one more day of postponement was wrong. Sadly, the day to pay for his action was upon him, and he could not allow anything to postpone it." Betrayal for Beauty is 1700 word short story based upon the true event in King David's adulterous relationship with Bathsheba. David is troubled to his core with guilt, and the story chronicles the events surrounding his admission of his sin to Bathsheba. David is shown as a tortured, fallen, man who longs for the return of God's favor. Bathsheba has suspected David's role, but could not believe the truth until confronted by her King. David's ultimate forgiveness by God parallels our forgiveness through the Lord Jesus Christ.

A society based on endless growth is unsustainable...entropy ensures this. In the year of 2050, the world that seemed to be a near Utopia gave out...the vital oil reserves almost completely run dry, with only select reserves still pumping, and leaving entire nations without power. The world is plunged into darkness, and a teenage girl named Amanda residing in Las Rocas, California is thrust in a world where it becomes survival of the fittest and man becomes cannibalistic. With her family, they make a run from the uprisings plaguing the heavily populated areas and run for the supposed safe havens in the untamed areas of the Midwest, dodging crazed individuals, and armed gangs fighting for the remaining oil reserves. This is a story of symbolism, and a warning to what extortion of our Earth will lead to, and represents our psychological foundation of animalism. This work is heavily influenced by the musical works of the band Muse...primarily the messages told in the music in their albums "The 2nd Law" and "The Resistance."

HONOR. LOYALTY. FORGIVENESS "These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: ... Uriah the Hittite: thirty and seven in all." - 2 Samuel 23:8 & 39 Dedicated to the army of over 2,000,000,000 plus who have been murdered in the name of convenience who stand with those under the altar Revelation 6:9-11 Copyright (c) 2015 - S. C. Watchman Disclaimer: At first glance at 1 Chronicles 20 it appears obvious that the sons of Rapha were killed after the city of Rabbah was conquered. Brian Godawa has kindly shared some extra Biblical arguments with me where the timing of events does work, but I wanted to be clear that I'm not sure. I would like to point out that my number one priority in writing this fiction is to share a moral and spiritual lesson and the timing of the fall of the Sons of Rapha does not change that main point.

King David had 8 wives. The Bible talks about a few of the wives of David and how they effected King David's life. I got some information from a series called "Reis" which is a brazillian biblical series. I akso got the information from The Holy Bible. In this book, I will tell you about each of the wives of King David. How did they meet David, What happened, Why did it happen, what did they do when they found out David has other wives/got new wives after them, Did they lead him to commit a sin against God and How many children did they have with King David. All of this you will find out in this book. Its very romantic but some sad as well. Please like and enjoy this book. Like Share and read. Thank you ❤️❤️
