Gotham City has always been considered the city with the highest crime rate, every person living there is potentially a future victim of one of these criminals. As a woman living in Gotham, the chance of being the next victim is 80%, while it's only 20% for men living in Gotham. 90% of these victims killed are police officers, because they are the only ones who want to help the city's residents against its criminals. So imagine being a woman AND a police officer in Gotham, this is the case for Reese Knight, who is Gotham's only female police officer. She is also one of the few police officers in Gotham City who has never been corrupted by these same criminals because, for her, the only thing that matters in her job is uncovering the truth and putting criminals behind bars. But Gotham has a tendency to hate honest people, and even more so when that person is a woman, especially a cop. Then one day, a masked man, whom the inhabitants nickname Batman, appears and begins to take justice into his own hands in the city of Gotham, which brings some criminals out of the shadows, who do not appreciate the arrival of a "vigilante", the police are not happy either, except for Lieutenant Knight who thinks that this masked man could perhaps finally change things in Gotham City.
