This is an Batman x oc (or reader you do you) Jane Addams lived a pretty happy life considering being an orphan. She was always optimistic, and when she gained powers it only gave her another way to help her community. "If a man dressed as a bat can fight for this city, then so can I!"

Moving back to Gotham, your childhood city, to take over your parent's business you meet the famous bachelor of the city. Unaware of his secret identity an unexpected romance blossoms between you and Bruce Wayne. It's all perfect... ...Until you realise he's often gone, and frequently comes home acting strange. Why and what is he doing? Why wouldn't Alfred tell you anything? Perhaps you had to find out on your own. How dangerous could it be?

This is my first book on this account! Yay! This book will start by being simply DC heroes that I have fallen in love with over the years but don't be afraid to send me requests and, because it is my first book, I am completely open to critiques you may have. Wrestling with trauma and the desire to take control of your life again, you end up wrapped up in a string of horrific serial murders, ones that resemble something from your past with a shocking accuracy. Amidst it all, you find an unlikely partner in Gotham's own Caped Crusader, who you grow more and more hopelessly entangled with as you unravel more secrets than you thought possible.

Bruce Wayne has gone to a small town built by gypsies that lives almost unheard of on his travels to become batman. That was where a horrid event happened in Bruce's past. He goes to the cemetery to find the grave and there he finds a new vigilante. She sits atop the grave of what Bruce sees to be his biggest mistake. It is not the last they will see each other, for she is the new vigilante running loose in Gotham when he returns. It does not take long for him to discover who she is. The dead have not stayed so dead. Can they stop the impending threat? Will Bruce be able to fix his biggest mistake?
