It's also been a while since Darkseid turned Kara into a killing machine and ever since then Darkseid has been making evil clones of supergirl waiting for the right time to send them to Earth to cause destruction. He reluctantly agrees to train her, in the hopes of scaring her off the superhero life. Meanwhile, Kara is investigating a case for the newspaper she's interning at, that might be closely linked to a secret case Batman has been working on. As both their personal and superhero paths start crossing, they find themselves tangled in something far greater than they could have imagined.
