Following the events of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, Bruce is on a mission to find other meta-humans but without the help of Diana Prince (Wonder Woman). Bruce has been left to look for them alone or so he thought when someone unexpectedly knows more about where to find them then he does. And with the death of Superman, Metropolis is left without a hero.

Love is a beautiful thing. It's the kind of feeling that gets you up in the morning and fuels you through the day, it makes your heart flutter and distracts you from all situations at hand. That's what your mum taught you anyway. But it was nothing like that with him. It was all secrecy and mind boggling guilt. At least he kept you interested, right?
