Reluctantly, she climbed into the Trans Am., to be greeted by 3 other men and a little girl. {And that's where our story starts.}

In this colorless eutopia, a group of boys suppress the negative emotions plaguing the people outside of the city, known as zone people. One day while in the school garden a student named Christopher discovers something that may change his-and his classmates, lives forever.

They were different from the other kids. While everyone else at their school was content with taking their pills and following orders, they were content with defying authority and questioning the corporation that ran their world. They never did anything too severe, nothing to attract the attention of any of the Better Living higher-ups. No, they knew if they were too extreme then they'd end up in a re-education facility. That is, until they get fed up with being quiet. They're about to snap and do something really stupid, but it's fine. They'll be long gone by the time anyone important shows up. It's their last day of high school, their last day in the city, and they're ready to make some noise and leave with a bang.
