No one outsmarts Big Mama. That has always been a law of the Universe, until a certain turtle in blue waltzes in. Big Mama salvages the deal, but, now? Well, she has her eyes on this fascinating turtly boo and she now has an opportunity to get her hands on him. Or a Battle Nexus New York AU because I wasn't satisfied with it and my brain wouldn't let me do anything else besides write this.

The Battle Nexus Champion is a ruthless fighter that has lost his smile as they say. The human does nothing but glare, so still that one would've thought he was dead if it weren't for his eyes. They were the ones promising death.

Baron Draxum attempts to create First Generation Yokai with four baby turtles and a powerful human from the Battle Nexus called Lou Jitsu. He succeeds but Lou Jitsu ruined everything by breaking free and destroying his laboratory. Lou Jitsu escapes with three baby turtles, unable to save the fourth. The fourth turtle finds its way into the arms of an unlikely mother. *This is strictly a cute oneshots book on Leon's childhood under Big Mama. A separate book going over the season1&2 and the movie will be a future book all on it's own. And if you go on Ao3, I did not steal this book, it is my first time cross-posting something.*

Michelangelo Hamato is 18 and sick of the treatment he receives at the hands of his so-called 'family'. One would think that as mutant turtles being raised by a mutant rat their whole lives would make them care for each other. After all, they're the only ones they had growing up. They were supposed to be brothers. A team. Confidantes. Allies. Comrades. And, Michelangelo supposes, they were... or at least, Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello were. And when April O'Neill and Casey Jones ultimately came into their lives when they were all 15, they had been brought into the fold of those three as well. The five of them were always supportive of each other and constantly helped each other to get better and stronger. And when one of the five showed improvement or made progress, they were celebrated. The exact opposite of himself. When Michelangelo showed improvement, no matter how little, he got treated to either the silent treatment or to the false apology routine telling him to be himself. It drove him crazy. It didn't help that they were constantly abusing him physically and verbally and seemed to think it was okay. Normal, even. Maybe it was for them. For his own sake, he had stopped revealing his true self. He ignored them every time they told him to grow up now. He continued to play the role forced on him when he was a mere child. For years. But after one particularly bad patrol, Michelangelo decides that he can't do this anymore. And he goes to the one place he has any hope of being himself. If the Hamatos couldn't accept him, maybe the Shredder would make use of his skills and abilities. Even if it meant being against the Lotus Clan the Hamatos belonged too. Little did Michelangelo realize he would find acceptance and a place to belong. Little did Oroku Saki and his Foot Clan know that they would receive a gift when they accepted the once orange banded turtle into their clan. Then there's the Battle Nexus coming up. Just what would happen next?

Y/n is Baron Draxum's daughter. She's half-human half-yokai. (I'll explain how she's created in League Of Mutants) When Y/n was little, something traumatizing happened to her and blamed herself for her. She swore to herself that she'll do anything to protect the people she cares about. So, she made a reckless decision, putting herself in Big Mama's Nexus, where she earned herself the title 'Magenta's Mercy'. (Why that name? Well, Baron Draxum is mostly magenta, so...) The event that traumatized Y/n when she was little strained her and Draxum's relationship, but he still cared about his daughter, and as much as he disliked Big Mama, he couldn't stop his daughter from entering the Battle Nexus. Years later, Y/n's a teen (about Leo's age), fighting in the Battle Nexus, but this fight was more brutal, so Draxum pulled her out. A few months later, the show starts. She meets the turtles, and when they destroy Draxum's lab, they convince Y/n to move in with them. Y/n didn't want to get too close to them for fear of getting attached and then losing them after. But they got closer, and Y/n warmed up to them, and layer on found out that they were her biological brothers. As the story goes on, more stuff is revealed about Y/n's past, and bonds are made. (Fun fact-Y/n will have a necklace with a small piece of what she thinks is useless metal around her neck, but you can guess what the metal is. And Y/n also has a cloaking broach to go on the surface in disguise) As for Y/n and Draxum's strained relationship, it will get better.
