A hobbit OC story. Thorin took in an abandoned elf maid, Thranduil's daughter, disowned for loving a common elf. She died in childbirth, leaving Thorin with a "daughter". If you're here for a romantic love story, you're in the wrong place. This was written mainly for the paternal relationship cuz I think we all appreciate Thorin's soft side.

Her size doesn't matter when she's set on something. Her figure doesn't matter when she's wearing armor. Her features don't matter when she's cover in blood, sweat and grime. What matters is that she's not afraid to pierce you with her sword and smile down at you while doing so. Especially not when you threatened the people she cares about. The Men of Middle Earth are all gifted one prophetic vision in their infancy which shows them a key moment in their life. These take the form of Convulsions which rock through their bodies and leave them weakened. However it is the Will of the Valar that some of them should be Gifted with the Sight until the end of their days, granting them daily visions through the form of seizures of the brain. Each race experiencing them differently. And so it was that Tilda, youngest daughter of Bard the Bowman, came to change the fate of Arda.

Starts exactly where Thranduil's last scene left off in B5A, is complete and provides some much needed closure where too much was left hanging. Plus I wanted to share some significant scenes from the DVD extras that should have been in the movie. [Remember I said in my previous stories that the content came together after hours and hours of watching the extended versions DVDs and the extras and not from other sources? Well, this time there are a few "out-sourced" references. ]

My following words of yore and spite may shock you to the very core. They acknowledge a fact known to few, and even less, known to heart. But please, by the whim of mind and patience of soul, I beseech you to listen all the clear. Tolkien's tale of Middle Earth has fallen from its original translation. His story of Thorin Oakenshield's company once bore truth, but fate was reconstructed in light of a prophecy: The girl born of flame, fostered by the dwarves, royal in her name, and her child's birth. She is the one and only protector of Middle Earth, guardian over Mordor, savior of our royal dwarf. Her knowledge will be countered by family's unknown survival, though fate will turn it right as in sacrifice of her royal line. It isn't just a story, but the Valar's greatest mistake; let the heavens toll loud to save Durin's sons After the war of the ring and the destruction of Sauron, the Valar decided to repeat the past, starting at the union of the company within a small hobbit hole in the typically quiet Shire. Why, you may ask, did they decide to do this? Originally, the Valar had ignored the prophecy stated above (as they had done in the past), allowing the Durin line to be exterminated by the Pale Orc, Azog. However, the reign of Dain and his heirs as they took Erebor's throne turned out to be heartless and cruel, unlike the intended fate of Erebor foretold. Therefore, the Valar decided to turn back the clock, 60 years, giving Gandalf the idea to invite the "girl of fire" to the meeting in Hobbiton. Indeed, this did bring about the intended fate of the Lonely Mountain as well as infinite happiness to the company of heroic dwarves. This is her story, as she sacrificed her line in saving Durin. Areth has always been different. As daughter of Kili and Tauriel, she has had to learn the hard way that being half elf/dwarf is not a desirable thing in the eyes of many. Thorin Oakenshield hated elves. But she was something different. She was his only exception.

There were many myths about the forest kingdom, whether it was real or not. Some claimed that it's people were immortal while others claim they are the ghosts of the dead. Others said that it's people were of humans, hobbits, dwarfs and elves. It was said it was ruled by a beautiful queen, who wore a dress as white as snow, a crown as pure as silver, with silver eyes as bright as the moon. They say if you whispered her name she would give you the knowledge you seek. But that was only a myth... right? The company of Thorin Oakenshield had been running through a dark forest when suddenly everything around them changed, and in the distance stood a large tree, around it was the most beautiful and peaceful kingdom they had ever seen.
