Few have ever glimpsed a dragon rider, and Nymeria prefers it that way. Half-dwarf, half-human, she rides her black dragon, Ragnar, through lands still haunted by Smaug's destruction. When Gandalf seeks her out to aid Thorin Oakenshield's quest to reclaim Erebor, she joins a journey that will test skill, courage, and the bond between rider and dragon. From towering mountains to burning towns, her presence may not be known to many, but it could shape the fate of a kingdom I own no writes to Tolkiens work or the Peter Kackson films only my character! In which Tauriel, Captain Of ElvenKing Thranduil of Mirkwood's Guard, is portrayed in a new, badass light. Peter Jackson created her (seemingly solely) for a nonexistent love triangle between characters, to add romance for audience appeal. He gave her no real purpose for the movie, other than adding unnecessary drama to the mix (again, for audience appeal) But what if, she was more than just a young damsel in distress, in need of a lover? More than just a naïve, reckless figure in love? What if, she were Mirkwood's highest ranking warrior, trained in the deadly art of defense, her main focus to protect her beloved people, (though most especially the King and his son) from whatever harm there may be in the deep dark of Mirkwood, and the evil beyond? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For many years, the young fiery tempered elleth trained under the guard of Mirkwood, learning to master both blade and bow. Every day she worked hard to earn her place amongst the others. Her determination, skill and attitude soon ranked her higher than her comrades, who were weary of the strange elleth. She had always been....different, than the others. And for this most of he elves kept their distance from her. She was colder, distant, fierce. So unlike the other elleths of Mirkwood, who preferred the warm enclosure Thranduil's halls provided. Perhaps her cold heart and face was best explained by her past. One that she told not a single soul.... Cover made by @Storm_Herald!! Started 8/5/18 - #111 in battle 8/8/18 #19 in Tauriel 9/8/18 #3 in battleofthefivearmies 3/1/19

The Men of Middle Earth are all gifted one prophetic vision in their infancy which shows them a key moment in their life. These take the form of Convulsions which rock through their bodies and leave them weakened. However it is the Will of the Valar that some of them should be Gifted with the Sight until the end of their days, granting them daily visions through the form of seizures of the brain. Each race experiencing them differently. And so it was that Tilda, youngest daughter of Bard the Bowman, came to change the fate of Arda.

My following words of yore and spite may shock you to the very core. They acknowledge a fact known to few, and even less, known to heart. But please, by the whim of mind and patience of soul, I beseech you to listen all the clear. Tolkien's tale of Middle Earth has fallen from its original translation. His story of Thorin Oakenshield's company once bore truth, but fate was reconstructed in light of a prophecy: The girl born of flame, fostered by the dwarves, royal in her name, and her child's birth. She is the one and only protector of Middle Earth, guardian over Mordor, savior of our royal dwarf. Her knowledge will be countered by family's unknown survival, though fate will turn it right as in sacrifice of her royal line. It isn't just a story, but the Valar's greatest mistake; let the heavens toll loud to save Durin's sons After the war of the ring and the destruction of Sauron, the Valar decided to repeat the past, starting at the union of the company within a small hobbit hole in the typically quiet Shire. Why, you may ask, did they decide to do this? Originally, the Valar had ignored the prophecy stated above (as they had done in the past), allowing the Durin line to be exterminated by the Pale Orc, Azog. However, the reign of Dain and his heirs as they took Erebor's throne turned out to be heartless and cruel, unlike the intended fate of Erebor foretold. Therefore, the Valar decided to turn back the clock, 60 years, giving Gandalf the idea to invite the "girl of fire" to the meeting in Hobbiton. Indeed, this did bring about the intended fate of the Lonely Mountain as well as infinite happiness to the company of heroic dwarves. This is her story, as she sacrificed her line in saving Durin. Disclaimer: I do not own anything in this story except for Erudian, Sidel, and Typhon as well as any events or dialogue I added. The remaining content is credited to J.R.R. Tolkien and Peter Jackson. A very different view on Thorin Oakenshield himself. Everything and everyone was taken from him in the Battle of the Five Armies. This story takes place afterwards and is about how a lost, hurting king moves on with his life as the last possible dwarf or Durin on earth. We get to see how he copes by himself and finds a new life to live as a commoner instead of a royal as he was raised. Plus, I'm just really tired of seeing stories of new characters going on the quest with the company. The stories are always on the quest and stuff. Like, that stuff is getting old. So here's this story for you if you're like me. 😉

Her size doesn't matter when she's set on something. Her figure doesn't matter when she's wearing armor. Her features don't matter when she's cover in blood, sweat and grime. What matters is that she's not afraid to pierce you with her sword and smile down at you while doing so. Especially not when you threatened the people she cares about. {FANFICTION: THE HOBBIT}: "...One knows things as they have been, one sees things that have yet to be, and the third...She has the power to change it all." How far would you go to save a life? Dess Lachlan has spent a lifetime separated from those she loves. With only the clothes on her back and memories of how things were before the accident, she's been trying for years to find a way back to her family. With nothing but dead ends turning up in every direction, the easiest solution would have been to give up long ago- Now, it seems, she might have another shot. Finch Galdrow has been cursed as long as she can remember. She can't remember a single thing about her life before the night an elderly healer found her half-drowned by the river, and sputtering nonsense. But there's more on her mind than remembering what she can't recall; Finch can see Glimpses- snippets of the future and what it holds. So when the vision of a lone mountain and a town set on a lake continuously reappears to her time and time again, she's determined it means something. Brandy Nell has never wanted adventure. She's lived a quiet life to the best of her ability, side-by-side with her best friend Bilbo Baggins, content to lay low in the Shire for...Well...The rest of her life, really. But when a strange man in a pointed hat arrives from afar, bringing with him the promise of excitement and a journey like no other, she begins to feel as though everything she knows is about to be turned upside down... And that, perhaps, there's more to her story than what she's been told. A tale of magic and wonder, tragedy and grief, and the lengths three strangers are willing to go to do what is needed, regardless of what may come in the end. (Follows the book/movies to some extent; general storyline is the same)

this is about the hobbit. It began long ago... in a land far away to the east...the like of which you will not find in the world today. There was the city of Dale. Its markets known far and wide. Full of the bounties of vine and vale. Peaceful and prosperous. For this city lay before the doors of the greatest kingdom in Middle-earth: Erebor. Stronghold of Thror, King Under the Mountain. Mightiest of the Dwarf Lords. Thror ruled with utter surety...never doubting his house would endure...for his line lay secure in the lives of his son...and grandson Thorin Oakenshield. My name is Dimin, I'm a half-ling, half elf and half dwarf. I was approached by a tall, grey wizard who needed someone with my skills to join a company of other dwarves and a half-ling on the most dangerous journey I think I've ever been on.... sounds perfectly sane, why not? "Dimin, at your service...you must be Mr Baggins."

Starts exactly where Thranduil's last scene left off in B5A, is complete and provides some much needed closure where too much was left hanging. Plus I wanted to share some significant scenes from the DVD extras that should have been in the movie. [Remember I said in my previous stories that the content came together after hours and hours of watching the extended versions DVDs and the extras and not from other sources? Well, this time there are a few "out-sourced" references. ]

Having sent his son to join the Fellowship of the Ring, Thranduil's limits are tested. His kingdom and lineage is threatened. Barely able to speak of his wife's death and now exposing his son to a similar fate, the agony emanates from his eyes to Elenya, a Silvan elf who has known the king since his return to Greenwood since the war of the Woodland Realm with the Kingdom of Angmar. Her radiating friendship, having grown into a dearest affection, alleviates his unrest, until again, the White gems of Lasgalen end up stolen. Elenya pleads her king to let her retrieve them. An act of friendship, as she states, only does she hope that the retrieval of the stones will finally open her king's eyes to her. The affection between them could bloom into much more, but his resistance to another is still too strong. Little does she know that the thief of the stones, a black-haired God who bears the name Loki, grows rather interested in her, and is more than willing to claim his price. In her absence, Thranduil at last admits what Elenya means to him, and departs to retrieve her. Will Elenya continue to fight for Thranduil, or fall prey to his enemy, the God of Mischief on Asgard? Thranduil and Loki - OC This is a crossover between Lord of the Rings and Marvel, and is inspired by both in the creation of this new story. It will contain romance, angst, slight violence, smut and deal with grief. I do not own the rights of the cover.
