He turned out to be anything but respected. After a few incidents his second year, he was kicked out of battle school and banned from the villages surrounding Redmont. His two best friends were exiled with him, as they went on a journey outside the only place they had ever known. Never to see his mother again, he was caught up with thieves and bandits, wondering where his next meal would come from. His name, Jerome. In Ender's mind, he believes that his parents do not care for him. So it's no big stretch for him to believe that he will spend the rest of his days in space. However; his parents, John Paul and Theresa Wiggin, along with Colonel Hyrum Graff, have an entirely different path carved out for him. Ender's parents would love nothing more than to get to know the child who they'd lost so many years ago, but the decision is Ender's. Would he like to come back to Earth where he would have a life full of publicity and fame? Or does he want to spend his days alone on an unknown Bugger world? Growing up in the Redmont castle ward wasn't the easiest. Ena grew up in the shadows of her other ward mates, not exactly social with the others. When the day of the choosing happens, Alyss chooses the diplomatic services, Horace chooses battle school, and Will, well you all know his story. Ena didn't want any of the crafts, except one. Training the massive battle horses, and she knew it was the only craft for her. Join Ena as she attends the choosing, and stands up to her other ward mates, maybe even making friends along the way. But the IF didn't notice her smarts until six years after they took out the monitor, so when they show up at her door, she is very confused about what is going on. Will she be the person that the human race needs to survive? Or will she doom us all?

All Will ever wanted was to be a warrior, now with the ceremony that decides every 14 year old's path in life looming ahead he's not so sure if he can become one. Both of his brothers are warriors in training at the local Battle school and his father is Sergeant of the Guard at the castle. He's always been considered too small and now he has the opportunity to become an equal with his brothers, maybe even one day become greater.....
