Descendant, or new species? Sheltered, reserved and a humanitarian, she will become a relentless killer. Avery has just come of age and now she will have to participate in the Founders Day tradition. Dropped outside the gates, she will have to earn her way back into civilization's only remaining society. She will be forced to uncover her family secrets and unlock her true potential. She will be pushed to her limits, broken and remade in a fight to retain her freedom.
