Yuto Sakamoto is a social pariah, a high school "UFO freak" convinced that the stars hold the secrets to his lonely existence. Hana, the fierce, short-tempered granddaughter of a legendary spirit-smith, is a skeptic who hates the "family business" of exorcism. But when an ancient "glitch" in reality awakens, their worlds collide in a pulse-pounding explosion of neon and gore. Forced into a reluctant partnership, they must survive the Bakemono-monsters born from the intersection of alien technology and cursed folklore. To save their city, Hana must forge her soul into a weapon, and Yuto must become the very monster he's spent his life looking for.

(This is a revamp of "PROJECT H8: The human slayers" by the way. I was disappointed of the old version because it cringes me and is boring) A battleshonen tale of wizards with modernized magic, fighting against space alien wizards each with their own form of sorcery. What makes the Earth and the human race so unique, is that they had different cultural backgrounds that differ from each other, spoke in differing languages, composed of different ethnic backgrounds and species, and had no truly centralized government that governs all the nations. That makes them a favorite prey of the Spacers(a derogatory collective term that refers to an alien or creatures that does not originate from earth). Every nations began modernizing their witchcraft and sorcery and utilize them on their military technology as most weapons does not do much effective damage against some spacers utilizing a kind of sorcery that makes technologies primitive. Each nation had their sorcery differing from each other, within the following: The Japan's sorcery has modernized their onmyodo, turning balance into weapon. The republic of taiwan has upgraded their martial prowess by synching their qigong into the nanomachines. Russia has weaponzed cold. Brazil weaponizes rhythm, steps, and chaotic energy from dance. Chaos through controlled body movements is their specialty. Mexico uses death motifs and as their weapon, dancing with death is what makes them stronger. Indonesia has weaponized their fiery burning passion through the volcanic flame. But in Philippines, they weaponizes hatred. Inspired by how their sorcery works in ancient times: they use their sorcery either to heal, or to cause harm. But through the modernization, their killing intent becomes a valuable weapon of hate -- it allows them to create weapons, lethal constructs, out of thin air, to shoot any kind of projectiles. What to expect: No harem. No romance(I don't know how to write that). Martial arts.

"Humanity was a myth" In this world, humanity has been at war against Kegare demons since the dawn of time -- they are the creatures born from negative emotions and spiritual filth. In 1956, the science is now advanced enough and scientists and other geniuses collabed together to aid the kegare sorcerers on battling the kegare demons. In the project brainmorph, people can now summon entities born from their imaginations and subconscious. However, some brainmorphs may came as hostile, thus the "brainrot disease" is born when a brainmorph tries to fuse with a person. To solve this, scientists created the Lazarus project, meant to create supersoldiers that also possess a transformation ability based on their deepest, direst desire. However, an accident happen leading the project to be in two options: Option 1(become a zombie), option 2(be a supersoldier. The chances on becoming a zombie through serum is 50, and so becoming a super soldiers. As time passes by, zombies became aberrants -- an abomination fused with the group of zombies. When an aberrant is killed, there is a chances that an aberrant will came back to life as a mimicker -- cellular being where their true brain is located in a tiny cell nucleus -- able to perfectly shapeshift almost anything. Capable of adapting, learning, and perhaps replacing humanity. Enjin Yoshainou, a half filipino half japanese, became misanthropic and had a strong distrust on humanity after a single incident happened to him changed him the way how he saw humanity. To him, it's all humanity's fault and God's unforgettable regret. Enjin serves the mimickers(pretending to be politicians), helping them to find a human prey and prevents the humans from discovering the truth about the "politicians" he served.
