When an aberrant is killed, there is a chances that an aberrant will came back to life as a mimicker -- cellular being where their true brain is located in a tiny cell nucleus -- able to perfectly shapeshift almost anything. Capable of adapting, learning, and perhaps replacing humanity. Several decades later after the end of zombie war, the surviving mimickers has infiltrated the human society -- pretending to be one of them and ruling the shadows with their vilest secret the fact that they were never human.
