No one ever warned me about this. As I was lying face down on the ground, covered up to my ear cones in dark brown mud I took a moment to reconsider the life choices that led me up to this point. How did I get here indeed, I wondered as I felt the fresh snow landing on my back and melting through my already wet clothes. Rhee is a twi'lek, who never learned to dance properly so she became a medic. But she was young and fell in love with the wrong person and then found herself on a run being chased through the whole galaxy. She is just trying to find her place and right the wrongs that she wasn't able to stop. WARNINGS: Mentions of deaths, depictions of injuries, slight gore, romance. Hurt/comfort. This is fanfiction and I don't own any of the canon characters or planets or world. I only claim ownership of the original characters :)

You thought this would be a simple mission, but is any mission simple with Poe Dameron involved? I just got back from Disney World, and I could not get enough of Galaxy's Edge and Rise of the Resistance. This fic is the product of that obsession.

One year after the Battle of Exegol, scattered remnants of the First Order threaten to regroup in the Outer Rim. Resistance Agent Volition is dispatched to Batuu, tasked with investigating their growing activity. She is partnered with Rings, a stoic and mysterious mercenary with secrets of his own. With each battle fought and each piece of intel uncovered, their trust in each other strengthens. But in typical Resistance fashion, things rarely go according to plan, sending the unlikely duo across the Outer Rim on a bold mission to end the First Order threat once and for all... Author's Note: I stayed as true to Star Wars canon and lore as possible. The two main characters, Rings and Volition, were created by me. This story focuses on character growth, engaging dialogue with some fun banter, tight action sequences, and some well known guest appearances. The tone is Star Wars PG fan fiction, so there's no swearing (does Dank farrik count?) and no excessive violence. I broke the chapters up into smaller "Episodes" to make it easier to digest. A fun and (hopefully) enjoyable read for any Star Wars fan. Your feedback is highly encouraged and greatly appreciated!
