As it turns out, Summer Torres has an older sister, Penelope Torres, who tends to follow the rules by the book. She has been forced to leave her summer internship at one of the most prestigious editing companies in New York because her sister wants to go to nationals. Aela was new to shore haven, her parents had moved her there on a whim. Chasing the Surf as usual. She'd been happy in Queensland, she'd even made the state surfing team. As a ginger rugby player she was used to sticking out like a sore thumb, however amongst a group of amazing surfers she'd felt beyond intimidated with no one being as alluring as mysterious Baxter Radic. However something drew her to him, like a moth to a flame. She was trapped by his crazy hair and equally manic personality. But she might let herself drown in his sea of salt and soft pink hair.

He laughs at her eyes, at her smile, at the glasses on her face She loves how he talks late at night, when there's no one else to say How she's beautiful and funny and smart like nothin' he's ever seen He's good to her and she wants it more than everything in-between
