The old Scottish folktales often warn not to go into the water, but what if it wasn't a choice? what if, you just felt drawn towards the water by something? Would you go into the water, or would you run as far and as fast as you could go? These are questions that I found myself asking myself in a lonely Louisiana bayou.

Fun. That's all Maria wanted, needed, in her freshman year of college, nothing harmful. But, when an exclusive clique dares her to break into the Wintermill Plantation, things go a little off course. The owner of the old plantation, Amias, finds her. And he doesn't plan on letting her go anytime soon. --------- "This is some pretty serious The Princess and The Frog shit, Amias." He looks to me quizzically. "Your fascination with that movie is getting out of hand." Excuse me? Out of hand? If you are tre king through the bayou with a human-alligator-repellent, there is no such thing as out of hand. --------- I look at my wrist, where his gaze lies unwavering. There lie not only the bruises from both his and Isaac's manhandling, but also a faint black mark. Probably from the fall in here. Before I can question the man, he walks off. And now I'm freaking stuck in the cellars. Great. Freaking fabulous.... At least there's wine. --------- Will update... after I get my confidence up writing some other books. Working out the kinks and planning ahead, just want to make sure this one is good enough for all y'all amazing peeps.

Something new and dangerous is stalking the swamps of Louisiana, destroying traplines and stealing equipment. The locals are up in arms after a boy and his father are nearly killed by what they claim to be a swamp monster. But is this creature truly a monster? ************** Okay, so I suck at descriptions. The story is about a naga in the swamps of Louisiana and a biologist who was sent to find him. I reserve all rights to the story and characters as my own personal works. Any images contained within the story, do not belong to me and are the sole property of their creator. Enjoy!
