This is a two chaptered fic about and alternative universe where Simon and Baz meet at a ball. This story belongs to me. @sncwbaz on both wattpad and tumblr (I also have this posted on my tumblr) The characters Simon, Baz and the other named characters in this fic belong to Rainbow Rowell. I borrowed them and made them my own for this fic.

A SIMON AND BAZ FANFICTION (SEQUEL TO CARRY ON): The World of Mages has never been better since the death of the Insidious Humdrum and with it, the growth of the 'dead spots' scattered around Britain. Simon Snow is currently taking courses at university, but still has no idea what to do with his life. Magic surrounds him everyday, and he can't help but miss it more and more. No one could understand his pain, not Baz, the love of his life nor Penelope, his closest friend. So when he finds a way to bring his magic back, he decides to tackle this problem on his own, in true Simon style, inevitably causing disastrous results.

1st Person (switching pov) Heavy Angst Three years after Simon and Baz graduated from Watford. Three years after Simon lost his magic. Three years since Baz and Simon started dating. But, they didn't even know if they still could be sure of that anymore. Recently, (well, if you want to call a year recent) Simon had been drifting away. He hasn't felt worthy of anything since he defeated the Humdrum, not even Baz's love. The only thing that I liked more about Cath (from Fangirl)'s version of Carry On was the relationship between Penny and Baz. So, of course, I decided to write my own fic where their relationship takes center stage. Also: I've read a few stories in which Baz wears makeup. All of those stories have been my favorites (for obvious reasons). Therefore, this fic will feature Baz in makeup (yay!). Most of this is fluff and awkward sexual tension, I apologize in advance. Enjoy! These characters belong to Rainbow Rowell, not me. I only take credit for the plot line here, not the characters.

So I've been seeing a lot of au remakes of the chapter before 61 that end sadly and I just needed something to make me feel better about it, so I wrote this on a whim.
