Inspired by tumblr user baz-the-cat's headcanon! Baz Pitch doesn't talk to anyone, and it's better that way. He's content with his grades, his headphones, and his daily run. Simon Snow is the lead in the school play, and on the track team, and is way too friendly, in Baz's opinion. He may be cute, but that doesn't mean that Baz will let Simon pull him out of his comfort zone. Okay, maybe it does. This is a two chaptered fic about and alternative universe where Simon and Baz meet at a ball. This story belongs to me. @sncwbaz on both wattpad and tumblr (I also have this posted on my tumblr) The characters Simon, Baz and the other named characters in this fic belong to Rainbow Rowell. I borrowed them and made them my own for this fic.

Ever since Baz was a child, he heard stories of the miraculous Simon Snow and his incredible adventures in Neverland. For Baz, stories of Simon are more than just stories--they are true. The tales become his way to escape his harsh reality and his old-fashioned family. So, when his sister is old enough to understand, he tells her about Simon Snow and his battles with The Insidious Humdrum and how he and his fairy help-mate, Penelope, save Neverland on a daily basis. What Baz doesn't know is that there's always someone lurking outside his window when he tells these stories. Ever since Simon was born, he knew that the real world wasn't the place for him. His mother died during childbirth and his father, in turn, became an abusive drunk. So, when Simon was seventeen, he escaped to Neverland where he would never have to grow up and be like his father. Now that he's been there for so long (he lost track of the years overtime) he starts to wander back into the real world to see how things have changed. One night he hears, through an open window, a silky voice telling stories of Simon Snow the Great Adventurer. The boy that didn't want to grow up. So Simon hovers outside the window night after night, just to hear what the boy has to say. One night, Simon finds himself going in through the window to try and find his shadow and meets the mysterious story-teller. Who, as he finds out, is not just mysterious--he is incredibly attractive.

Baz dropped his head onto the edge of Simon's bed, next to Simon's limp hand. "I'd take all of your stupidity if it meant I could have you back." ~ Or, when Goblins put Simon in a coma, Baz isn't sure what he's supposed to do with himself. He settles for never leaving Simon's side.

The Watford Tragedy tore Baz's family apart. His father refused to send Baz to the place that had killed his mother, so Baz was forced to stay home and learn from a plethora of tutors. When he asked his father if he could go to university in London, he had hardly expected his father to say yes, but he did. So Baz packed his things and moved to the city, eager to be around people his age and to learn from real professors in actual classrooms instead of his family's stuffy library. The only problem with this whole thing (besides the fact that he's a vampire) is his roommate: Simon Snow. His roommate who he has managed to fall deeply, helplessly in love with. Simon Snow hadn't really planned on going to university. After graduating from Watford, he planned on staying with the Mage so he could continue to go on quests and fight the Humdrum. But the Mage sent him off to university in London so Simon could "stay close to the language." Unfortunately, Simon was paired with the most insufferable git for a roommate: Tyrannus Basilton Grimm-Pitch. Neither of them know that the other is mage so they are constantly hiding from each other. But Simon is pretty sure that his roommate is a vampire or has some other dark secret because his side of the room is always too clean, he never eats, and he constantly vanishes in the middle of the night. Baz is pretty sure that his roommate is hiding something from him, that he's in some weird drug or fighting ring, perhaps, because he disappears for days on end, is constantly bruised and bleeding, and leaves the room every time Baz tries to pick a fight.

Hi! im Rosie and I'm an aspiring author from England aha! I am completely in love with Rainbow Rowell and her characters so i thought i'd try and finish where she left off in Fangirl! I am continuing the story from when Cath was reading her own fanfic of Simon and Baz to Levi so I've kind of expanded on what she's done! I hope you enjoy aha! Baz had always imagined the day would come, but he never believed that it actually would. Someone had told Professor Benedict that he was a vampire, and now he was to be stricken from the Book. The news had spread around Watford like wildfire. Every student now knew of the burden that Baz had carried upon his shoulders for years, one in which he was careful protecting in order to make sure it wasn't discovered. And yet, despite all of Baz's hard work to keep his being a vampire a secret, someone had still found out.

This is a little collection of stories that I think would happen during or after Simon and Baz's eighth year. I also accept prompts and suggestions for stories. Just message me. baz feels like he's ruining simon. simon couldn't disagree more. he just has to show baz that they are something more. inspired by KickThePj's short film 'Colour Bandits'. you guys should check it out, it's one of my favorites.

So this is kind of just a continuation on "Carry On" by Rainbow Rowell. I'm not really sure where the story's going at this point, but I hope to update it pretty regularly.
