Cal Kestis is a padawan who survived Order 66, becoming a part of Scrapper Guild as a rigger. You also managed to survive Order 66 as a padawan, but you were Obi-Wan Kenobi's padawan and saw Anakin's fall. Obi-Wan tells you to survive by finding a backwater planet, which is how you end up on Bracca. Balance had been restored to the Living Force - the Unifying and Cosmic still reeling from the deaths of untold thousands. But the Parent, bereft of his Children in that Galaxy, sends a warning to a following time. Their schemes are not worth their Children's lives. And so, the Son and the Daughter, of a time before-yet-after, contrive a plan. They do not need a powerful Force sensitive, or a chosen one. They do not need someone ordained by fate or part of a holy Dyad. They needed someone ordinary - someone who would change the Galaxy simply by refusing to die. Jon Antilles was too cautious and stubborn to jump through the Force vergence, and Quinlan Vos too reckless and in-the-thick-of-it to follow any set plan. But maybe, instead, they could push someone (Some people...) into the space between time by accidentally-on-purpose. The Resistance scrambles to escape the First Order! After narrowly escaping certain death they are officially out of the out of the frying pan and into the fire! Rey is sent ahead to Tanalorr to retrieve Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. And is stunned to discover he, alongside Jedi Master Cal Kestis, have build a new Jedi Order in hiding out of reach from the First Order. While receiving training she finds herself somehow connected to Kylo Ren and the mysterious Inquisitor, soon realizing that there may be hope for them yet. Meanwhile the deadly Black Inquisitor is led to a dark trial in the crumbling walls of her old home. With a fun new companion by her side, she is forced to face her past, her present, and even her future. Which grows bleaker by the day as a new evil hides in the shadows. Rey and the Jedi Order may be the Inquisitor's last chance to return to the light. But with the First Order closing in on the resistance, time is running out...
