That is, until a new B-Shot steps into the competition. Kohana Mai, a former resident from West City, has recently moved to East City with her mother, after staying with her Aunt and Uncle in North City. As a fellow B-Shot, Kohana wields Flaming Aries, a special B-Daman that was gifted to her by her father, a businessman working in Crestland. But Kohana is more than just a normal girl with a special B-Daman as her partner. One day, as she explores East City, she finds herself at a local B-Club and approaches a mysterious machine - the Gateway.
