Kylie Blythe is a soon-to-be teen. After her parents die in a collision, Kylie and her younger sister are left in foster care with Alexandra Cline - a middle-aged, single woman. As odd as it is, everyone attempts to adjust to a different life. Kylie, Tilly, and Alexandra together will encounter many interesting new people and overcome a few "roadblocks" on their way.
