Słone krople skapywały na błękitne kafelki, niczym deszcz, który osiadłszy na krańcach dachu pozbawionego rynny, skapywał od nadmiaru wody i odbijał się od chodnika w akompaniamencie głuchego postuku. Dobiegająca zza drzwi okropnie głośna muzyka, wydająca się sprawiać, że bębenki uszne mogłyby spokojnie pęknąć, zdawała się łączyć z biciem mojego serca. Przyprawiała mnie o dreszcze, sprawiała, że było mi niedobrze. Pustka, która wypełniała mój zniszczony emocjonalnie umysł, zdawała się być czarną dziurą, która z każdą kolejną sekundą pochłaniała mnie coraz bardziej, zatapiając mnie w swojej zimnej, bolesnej otchłani. Zakrywając dłońmi uszy, szarpałem włosy, starając się uspokoić oddech i myśli. Jednak ta myśl, że zostałem całkiem sam, pośrodku wszechświata; bez nikogo, kto mógłby teraz pomóc mi wydostać się w klatki zapomnienia i załamania. Straciłem nadzieję, że jeszcze jest dla mnie ratunek. I wtedy... ktoś zapukał do drzwi.
