Harley Davie Miller was never able to stay in one place for long. That was until her mom found her 'dream man'. To Harley this was just another guy, he would never be her father, but, this time her mom seems serious about him. Harley just wants to go back to her house in the mountains, with her dad, but, it's not an option anymore. The town is filled with adventurous surfers, crazy golf cart drivers and of course three of Folly's boys fighting for the new girls love. Ryder is a stern guy but it seems like he's trying to steal Harley from two of his best friends. Then there's cute little Max, always trying to make Harley laugh but sometimes his feeling get the best of him. But Thomas is the charming, respectful boy, always making sure to see if Harley's okay. And he also happens to be a hot surfer. What's not to like? Folly is starting to grow on Harley, and so are some of the people in it...

It is the Summer of 1964, and 17-year-old Meghan Peterson is ready to hit the waves! She started falling for Carl Wilson after they first met back in 1959 at the age of 12, and liked him ever since. Find out what happens when these two teens lives come together and started falling in love with each other.

"Just then, I hear a sliding door open. I turn and look towards the sound, and surely, there's the cute boy. Our balconies are on the same level and they're so close you could probably jump from one to the other. He's running his fingers through his hair, which he seems to do a lot, and it's really attractive. Oh gosh, I'm so creepy. I feel awkward staring at him without him seeing me so I just pretend I don't see him. My stomach is churning as I look away, waiting to see if he'll say anything, or even notice me."

A man sends a letter out to sea, in hopes of contacting an old friend.

"Ya know, Seashell, I gave you my number so you could use it." "Seashell?" What are you supposed to do when the prettiest surfer/skater boy in the world gives you his number? Internally freak out and never use it, of course. That sounds about right... right? Who knew that a family owned surf and smoothie shop would bring Avery Shell a new *cough cough* 'friend.'

This is based of a dream I had and i wanted to write something other than fanfics about shows or movies as there is plenty of them in my drafts
