"Just then, I hear a sliding door open. I turn and look towards the sound, and surely, there's the cute boy. Our balconies are on the same level and they're so close you could probably jump from one to the other. He's running his fingers through his hair, which he seems to do a lot, and it's really attractive. Oh gosh, I'm so creepy. I feel awkward staring at him without him seeing me so I just pretend I don't see him. My stomach is churning as I look away, waiting to see if he'll say anything, or even notice me."
