With marlins, money, danger, and love on the line, prepare to be hooked! Bills invites readers on a thrilling adventure where the breathtaking beauty of the sea meets the high-stakes excitement of competitive billfishing. This gripping coming-of-age story follows Jason Baymont, a young fisherman from Destin, Florida, as he charts his own path through the unpredictable waters of life. Though he is drawn to the adrenaline-fueled excitement and glamour of catching the world's most powerful game fish-the mighty blue marlin-he must first confront his fear of disappointing his father, who expects him to take over the family's commercial fishing business. Choosing to pursue his passion, Jason takes on the dangerous role of a wireman, where a single misstep could send him overboard, dragged into the depths by a massive marlin. Meanwhile, his growing attraction to the boat owner's daughter collides with a wealthy rival's pursuit of her affection, raising tensions both on deck and ashore. PG-13 style story with mild language and light alcohol references; no explicit content.

Since Georgie Quinn’s mother died after a brief illness, the highlight of Georgie's life has become “jogger stalking” every morning with her roommates Tess and Cat. Stuck running the senior center her mother founded in Newport, RI, until a replacement director is found, Georgie dreams of returning to her glamorous life in Atlanta. As that life begins to unravel, she discovers a whole new one in Newport where the jogger turns out to be sexy detective and tree hugger Nathan Caldwell. Determined to get her mind off her many problems —including a possible threat to her own health— Georgie indulges in what she intends to be a no-holds-barred one-night stand with Nathan. Unfortunately, Nathan has other ideas and sets out to have a relationship with her. Tess, on the run from an abusive husband, and Cat, who raised her younger brother and sister, hook up with Nathan’s brothers, Ben, an injured Iraqi war veteran, and Ian, a single-father and talented musician. Add a zany cast of seniors who seem determined to drive Georgie slowly mad with their never-ending needs and comparisons to her sainted mother, and you'’ve got the ingredients for a fast-paced, often comical, emotional journey that leads Georgie straight to the home of her heart. Three romances for the price of one!

Liam thought that the only significant event that would ever occur in his life would be his parents getting a divorce. But that's where he was wrong. Suddenly, Liam's average Australian teenage boy life is thrown up into the air when he and his mum decide to move to California. Liam finds himself with a buzzing social life that he never had before and of course, a beautiful girl living next door. Will the craziness of teenage life get in the way or will one shake be all it takes? *AUTHOR'S NOTE* I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to take this story further. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace! Basically, this is just a feel-good summer read, and I hope I've brought you some enjoyment at least. xx RomanceWriter2000 :)
