When what was supposed to be a relaxing beach trip ends up being somewhat like school camp, Ella Lofe accidentally indulges in something more than just salt water when she meets Laithan Dove, the soon-to-be new shopkeeper at the only store in the little town, and they strike up a hatred immediately from the moment that they lay eyes on one another.
