"Cedar! Please- ahhh!" Pain shot through me and forced the cry through my lips. I felt my eye swelling as I breathed hard, blood pooling up from my lip. The crimson wolf had a crocodile grin as he drew back his fist for the next blow. I spat out a shard of broken tooth but I resisted the urge to slam my hoof into his face. "This is so childish! Why can't you just leave me alone?" "You really haven't sussed it out yet? You're the mystery man, the so-called detective. 2Abner2 and his ever holy army of fans. If you're not chatting up Arielle, you're ranting to your half-baked beans about how shallow I am, or messing around with my puppets by telling the truth." He gave another blood-curdling snarl and ripped his claws down my muzzle, making me moan in pain. "Ooh, ooh, nobody likes a drama queen, Cedar! But left and right you're blaming me, flaming me. Trying to shame me. I bet you enjoyed that friendship lecture, you curly little worm. I bet you were taking notes!" - - - Two ancient amulets. Two famous Jammers. Two lost discs. But when Abner begins to feel more than friendship for his pretty companion, things get even more dangerous. In his way are raging sandstorms, bloodthirsty creatures and an enormous desert, not to mention a certain arctic wolf who's recently gone from sweet to sour. In way of allies, Abner is pretty much on his own. But, like it or not, he's going places.
