Premise It is the turn of the twelfth century. England and France are in turmoil. King Richard, "The Lionheart," is fighting back home from his crusades. However, his aspirations of returning home are dashed when he and his men discover that the fabled King Arthur Pendragon and his Knights of the Round Table have returned. With the ancient king's ascension, magic springs forth from the depths of the world, spreading slowly outward from England. Known as the Rupture, hosts of people across the land are impacted by this sudden upsurge of magic, the corrupting force twisting man and nature alike in strange ways. Numerous 'tainted' beings are created, spreading chaos wherever they go. King Richard is forced to align himself with Philip of France to wage war against King Arthur. As the new alliance musters its forces for an invasion across the English Channel, they are obliged to rely more and more on irregular units to deal with the spreading threat of the tainted. One such team, led by the notorious Sir Orin Wolfbane, is tasked with investigating rumors of a tainted witch in the hinterlands of Paris.

There was once a perfectly respectable miner and his wife who had seven children, all sons. But they are very poor, and one bitter winter, inflation makes things so bad that they are forced to consider putting their boys into care. However, Jack is a little different to his brothers, and he comes up with a surprising plan . . .

Told through an omniscient narrator, who through the use of poetic prose, didactically interprets the trials and accomplishments of the main character as he overcomes himself and grows tremendously because of it. Although a fantastical account of an imaginary boy in an imaginary world, Jamal, the main character, relates to the kid in us all, and our shared quest to thrive happily through life uninhibited by the tribulations presented. This is a dance; this is a song; this is a poem begun the moment we took our first breaths. Join Jamal on this adventure of self-discovery presented as a progression of events and colorful characters he meets along the way. The Hero's Journey has begun! "I know how you look up at the sky at night, and wish you could see what was up there. I know all about your drawings and that you'd rather read science fiction books than make friends. The journeys Jamal; I know about the journeys you take in History class. I know you go away because it seems more real than anything else in the world, and if you could only escape. Don't you want to know? Don't you want to escape Jamal?" Jamal was of course speechless. He couldn't express the feeling of finally meeting someone who understood everything he'd wanted to say about how it felt to be him. All he could manage to ask was, "how?" With a somewhat philosophical perspective on the basics of life, imaginative descriptions and exciting moments all throughout, The Beanstalk has something appealing for all ages, interests and backgrounds. NOTE: This was made by me in 5th grade and does not represent my current writing or views. This is a story of the Jack and the Beanstalk after the events of the story we all know and love. When I wrote this piece, I just kinda said "yeah that sounds cool" and put it in.

Short, dark haired, and armed with a cloak brighter than blood, she constantly sneaks away into the forest. Her forbidden fascination: a giant wolf, with eyes like jade and fur dark as midnight. So when the Queen needs to consult the Princess's grandmother, Scarlet immediately volunteers, planning to get through with the job, then see the Wolf and the rest of the world. But when the Woodsman saves her from an attack on the road, he asks her to repay him by freeing his cursed son, throwing a bit of a detour into her plans. As Scarlet and the Wolf set out to find the cure along with a clever thief named Jack, the powerful enchantress who first laid the curse lurks in the forest, determined to stop them at all costs. When her beloved father mysteriously disappears, Jac Spriggins doesn't expect the quest to find him to be so extensive. However, she soon finds herself climbing a beanstalk and entering a whole new universe, where nursery rhyme characters roam free and magic is more than just a murmur at the village market. As she explores this new world, she discovers that her father's disappearance might be more involved than she first thought... and more than just one life could be on the line. **Note: This story is very much a rough draft, so be prepared for errors, and feel free to help edit and provide feedback!! Jack: brave. But is he brave enough? Smart, but is he smart enough? Happy? Not really. At least, not yet.

In this alternate universe, Dracula and Mavis are two vampires who thrive in their wormcake business. They end up meeting monster couples and making a small family. But they realize their house is too small and that they need money. After trying to find food, Dracula and his friends stumble across magical beans and grow a beanstalk, and they have to save a cloud kingdom from an evil hunchback giant named Quasimodo. (Parody of "Rugrats: Tales From the Crib: Three Jacks and a Beanstalk".)

What if the story we know, the version that was drawn, is twisted? What happened after happily ever after? Were the characters from our childhood really who we believe they are? Status: Ongoing Many variations of the classic story: Jack and the Beanstalk. I have seen other modern variations and was very disappointed to see that they removed the giant, an iconic and vital part of the story, from their versions nearly completely. They still had certain aspects of a villain in place of a giant, but I, a member of the gt community, couldn't stand for that. So, I decided to make this for all the people like me who wanted to still have the giant included in a modern version. :) I also would like to warn people that: this is the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, there's going to be mentions of eating people. There also will be both cases of hard and soft vore, as well as fearplay, because the giant is an asshole. Don't like it, don't read it.

Jane doesn't quite believe the magic bean is real when the tooth fairy accidentally drops it into her sister's bed. She plants it anyway and finds herself climbing to the sky on a giant beanstalk, just like her cousin, Jack. The Giant catches her and gives her an ultimatum: steal her weight in gold from the dragon or never go home again. Fortunately for her, there are good friends to be had, but will they be enough to overcome an ancient dragon? Jane is determined to try.
