Her brother-in-law took one look and knew, he handed the keys of his truck over to his own mate and had him take Anya to the hospital because the smell of blood was too concerning. That was years ago, and her mate hasn't been seen since though she wants to shoot him she does miss him, deep deep down in the depths of her heart.
