During a trip to New York, Pauline mysteriously time travels back into the mid 80's due to a seemingly harmless incident. What stuns her even more is that she soon gets to make the acquaintance of one of her all-time favourite bands: the Beastie Boys. Is it all just a dream? Will she find out how to get back to her normal life? And if so: does she even want to go back...?

The year is 1987. Valerie Blackwell is fresh out of college and just got a position as a music journalist for Blaze, the hottest music publication in NYC. She's stoked to get even more involved in the industry, being a huge music fan herself, but things quickly change when her first assignment is to interview the Beastie Boys. Valerie and Adam Yauch immediately begin making eyes at each other but will their respective professions prevent them from making a connection that lasts?
